Hey Gizmo, is it possible to have a button that sends a predefined command?
For example if I create a component with the type "Numeric Value" (or text value) in the Web App it shows a button "Send Command" but then you have to type the command manually each time.
What would be good is if you can predefine a command so when you click on the Send Command it knows straight away what to send. Basically, that's exactly how the ON/OFF component works and it sends preset ON or OFF strings.

Not right now but it is on my list and will be implemented I promise.
I completely agree that it should be an option, the main reason why I didn't build that straight away is the interface, I need to completely re-design the components panels to accept more custom details and if I'm going to do it I may as well make it future proof, that unfortunately take a fair bit of time :-(
Also, the device database structure will have to change and again it's a serious task as that will require the database re-build which has to be done without stopping the servers for too long or in real-time if possible.
I will get it done guaranteed, it's on the list and your post has just nudged it one notch higher now :-)

@MiniFish92 Agree with what? That it's needed or that it's a f*** big job?

That it's an absolute necessity and needs to be prioritised no matter what. Don't care if it's a big job, just get on with it ! We should put this to the vote, everyone for raise their hand
