Alexa connection
After logging into my amazon account and clicking on allow, I was redirected back to this page and got stuck there. I've tried a few times but it's the same. Any ideas?

Ok, I've checked the server logs and I can see ChipChop trying to activate the Alexa skill quite a few times and I've found one descriptive response from Alexa's server saying:

"Customer is not authorized to enable this skill"

As far as I am aware ChipChop's skill should be open worldwide and has 3 different Lambda's with Amazon in order to cover all regions.

I have a feeling this is something to do with the language coverage or some cross country restrictions and your local Alexa node is being an ass 😡☠️🚽

This is the first time I see that particular server though, I've got its name so I will roll up the sleeves and dig into it straight away...grrrr....stuff like this really pisses me off.

Can you just check one thing, in the Alexa app under skills & games if you search for "chipchop" does it bring the skill or says it's not found? If it's not found then it's a regional issue (i hope bloody not)

I'll look into is straight away and keep you posted

Sweet as. It's working now!

I found chipchop on my alexa app skils and enabled it there, then entered my chipchop credentials. That's a reverse way of doing it I guess. Thanks Gizmo for this convenient access to alexa.

pfew...got me worried there!

I am still not happy why you couldn't do the linking through the Dev Console though?

Anywho...happy days :-)

I can't seem to connect either.

When I try via the console I get

> Something went wrong, the file requested doesn't exist!

So I tried the method above and get the same message in the Alexa app.

All working now (issue was with your geo-location)
