Report a problem with the chart function
Hello Gizumo, sorry for the many requests lately.
I found a bug in the chart function today, so I'm reporting it.

When I compared the chart values generated from the heartbeat log with the text values, I noticed a 9-hour discrepancy.
The text shows the same time as the device's time zone (in my case, Japan time), but I think the chart shows UK time.

I know you're busy, but I'd like to ask you to fix the bug when you have time.

Ah my dear Haruto San!

There are many levels of Hell and the darkest and deepest one where even the Devil is afraid to visit, is where tortured souls have to do timezone programming! 😱🥹☠️

The issue with the graph and the timezone is down to the web browser and how it handles the timestamps so I've added an extra layer of calculations to force the timezone offset inside the graph and I think it should be working ok now.

It's difficult for me to test properly so please let me know if you are getting the correct times now inside the graph.

IMPORTANT:

This update is only for the latest ChipChop app and Dev Console so please don't use anymore the https://dev.chipchop.io and https://my.chipchop.io

Your server is API6 so please start using these links:

Dev Console - https://api6.chipchop.dev
App - https://api6.chipchop.app (installation instructions are here: https://chipchop.io/?docs/docs_web_app)

Have a look at the App Studio in the Dev Console to customise your app.

I had a quick look at adding some scroll bars to the graph but it's not a simple job so I will have to look at that some other time.

Let me know how it goes

Thanks Gizumo, problem solved.

I checked both the dev console and the ChipChop app, and the time is correct.

I also used App Studio a few days ago, and found it very easy to use as long as I remember to save.
My only complaint is that I can't think of any interesting background images.

I really appreciate your quick fix, thank you.

great, and keep reporting if you find any other problems.

here's some images, you may find something interesting to use as the app background (I will add some preset options in the App Studio when I have more time) https://chipchop.io/various/_general/backgrounds.zip

Also, I forgot to mention, you've asked for "guest" access for your colleagues if I remember correctly? You can set it up easily now in the new Dev Console, just go to My Account >> Guest Access and set a guest password.
